DEGLOVING INJURY
(COVERAGE OF EXPOSED TENDON)
Contaminated degloving injury from a car roll-over accident. The wounds could not be closed immediately due to swelling and contamination. Exposed tendons were covered with GammaGraft to prevent dessication and to see how much of
the overlying flap could be saved.
Swelling is subsiding while wound is covered with GammaGraft.
Area was closed with a small skin graft.
