SCALD BURN
Presentation of burn following scald accident. The wound was debrided, GammaGraft was applied, and the patient was sent home that day. The patient continued to cheerlead with the GammaGraft in place during recovery.
Two weeks later, most of the GammaGraft has sloughed off and
some remains in the area where the burn was deeper
Six months following injury. The wound has healed without grafting
and without dressing changes needed. There is excellent repigmentation and
no hypertrophic scarring.
